| "Rats, I
forgot the directions to the hash" ran though my mind as I came into
Mohnton. Being a man I knew I could find the ONON with a little
searching and the built-in manly compass that real men have. Strangely enough Madison Street/Road seemed to vanish before any signs of a hash. So, I made the help call just as I saw the EVERYDAYmobile pulled off the road. EVERYDAYs head was down so I assumed he was either reading a map or had died behind the wheel. Thankfully he was just searching the mapbook and lived to hash another day. We parked in a community lot and walked across the street to find a small pack assembled before the home owners. The full weight of their decision to allow their relative JLT to hare a hash there was becoming apparent by the fearful look on their faces. I am pretty sure I heard one of them on the phone to their attorney with an order to cut her out of the will. Oh well, most people don't let us use their places twice and their lawyer wouldn't be the first one contacted after hours in a desperate plea to change a will.
The circle was called and virgin JUSTLEE was introduced and little JLT tried to explain the marks to this big bastard. Finally someone hollered out "just follow us!" and the hare was off with a 5 minute headstart. This was my first hash in about 22 weeks and we took off on trail. The flour took us downhill to a wooded valley with a stream where 100s of wild animals and red-skinned Indians once lived before Mohnton grew up around it and pushed the creatures out. Now it just serves as a place for the local kids to go to smoke and fornicate. The pack stayed tight as we worked out of these woods and soon into a 2nd. We found a nice Oreck Eight Pound Upright (the choice of housekeepers everywhere) laying down the bank. I am planning to come back and get that thing. WILD CHERRY was below me as we went down a very steep bank. We both were careful to not slip as the sounds of breaking leg bones could probably be heard for miles from our dual recent past gimpiness. "BEER NEAR" was called but a thirsty confusion reigned when I arrived on scene. The beer was well hidden but soon enough discovered. Luckily, the bag contained mostly Lager and only a few Miller Lites. UNCLE FESTER found a small Cloister Dairy milk bottle that will go into the planned "UNCLE FESTER MUSEUM OF AMERICAN ANTIQUITIES". EVERYDAY spent most of the time standing on a fallen log that overlooked the beer - appearing as some sort of weird, white-haired avenging angel. The beer ran out and the pack was off. It turns out that this was the woods that we hashed through a few years ago when UNCLE FESTER was a new boot. The pack entered from the other direction and was soon chased by a guy in long pants and a dress shirt. Someone warned, "The landowner is coming after us and he is pissed" and the pack took off. We would run and the alleged property owner would stay right on our tail. When fatigue finally overcame some of the wankers and the pack slowed the "landowner" caught up only to question why we kept running away from him. Turns out that it was just FESTER before he got named and before we all realized that he always busts shiggy in long pants. Gai-tronics is a weird name for a company and everyone made it past without being ass wrangled. JUSTMEGAN and I sampled some of the ample quantities of ripe raspberries that grew behind this company. She is so cute that even if they were gai-berries they wouldn't have had an effect on me. Ahh, the erotic powers of Rubus ideaus! A quick jaunt through the outskirts of town and past the no tell motel lead us to JUST LAYS THERE in her car full of beer. The weather was perfect for a hashy golden nectar and everyone hung out and bullshitted before being pushed onward with the promise of grilled meat products at the apres. Through the park and downtown (which seems to actually be uptown in Mohnton) before heading up the hill to the end of this A-A circle jerk. The pack ate and drank and dispatched the resident small child indoors for the circle to begin as a lightning storm rapidly approached. The usual down downs were issued. JUSTRICK was sent walking as names were considered but nothing stellar was decided upon so the naming was postponed. Thanks to visitors WILD COOKIE,I mean WILD CHERRY and DOODLE from H5 and 2nd timers JUSTMEGAN and JUSTDEESNYDER for returning (in fact, JUSTDEESNYDER loves hashing so much that he has already roadtripped to Philly). Most of the pack was sent scrambling as a wicked storm moved through. Thanks also to JLT and her family for haring and hosting. Get your POWER OF THE POOHSAY regos in NOW. Hares are needed for July 30th and the two regularly scheduled dates for August. JUSTDEE will co-hare to an experienced hare if someone steps up. Written by: OVEREXPOSED
