Reading #663 - "The Low
Key Hash"
Sunday, Oct. 15, 2006
Assembled behind the clock tower at Stoudt's
were 15 hashers and two hares. It was a sunny, crisp fall afternoon. Just
after 1:00 all hashers took off in the direction the hare pointed believing
he'd lead us to trail......which he did. The trail led us through the woods
behind Stoudt's and up onto a mountain. Some of us following trail we'd been
on before. First stop was a shot check. A bottle of bourbon which we
finished in very little time. From there we followed trial up, up, and up.
Some of us losing the pack as we came to the RESTRICTED AREA NO TRESPASSING
sign which in smaller letters also said RIFLE RANGE. Finding trail again we
all made it to the second check where Glass Ass, blowing his horn to help
those of us in the rear, had fallen and was thought to have a concussion.
(Hope all is well Glass Ass) Continuing on through a playground, over the
hill, and through the woods to the HHH we found notes with directions to Bad
Semen's home. The apres was held on his deck with sausages, hot dogs and a
warm bubbling jacuzzi. Uncle Fester and Bad drank for a shitty trail as did
Decoy and Tour for being FRB's. It sure beat sitting on the sofa watching the
Eagles lose to the Saints.
