| 5:20 a.m. The smoke-filled
atmosphere of white trash fireworks set the stage for another historic
Independence Day in the 13th dangerous city in Pennsylvania. 5:39ish Hare
Wonder, Decoy was off. 5:47ish, the pack of 60 (yes, count them!) were on
trail. Interestingly, most claimed to be Reading Hashers! Wow! I
thought there were only about 10 Reading Hashers! Hope they cum out again
and more often. The trail was filled with plenty of shiggy, mountains,
large rocks and drama :) - After 3-4 miles of running, we found ourselves
at the TOP of Neversink Mountain wherein the apres was held, of course, in
the witch's tit. We were greeted with great music, grilled dogs, and beer
(disgusting beer, but beer just the same). Many down, downs were, had and
all is well in the great metropolis of Reading. Long live the Reading
Hash! Onon, JLT.
All:
Holy Shi@#$!!! Did we REALLY have 60 hashers yesterday at the Witches' Hat? Per Bad Semen, we "drank every beer, ate every dog", which means we won't have to recycle again for last year, and you'll be quaffing beer and gulping dogs that were produced in THIS century!! Hope you all did a tick-check after making it home yesterday. I found a few dog ticks but no deer ticks, so I'm in the clear. I had offered to give Just Lays There and Horn O' Plenty a special tick- check, but they deferred for some reason... probably something to do with my extreme myopia. Anyhoo, I have a pair of muddy NewBalance sneaks that someone left in my car during one of the car-backs. No idea to whom they belong, but they're free to a good home. Email me at decoitous@gmail. Hope you had fun hashing it, because I had a blast laying it. Thanks again to Chef Bad and GPS-King Pulls Out Early for making it happen, and a big shout out to the Lord Lucifer (you had to see the pavilion floor) for his assistance with the weather. ON-ON Decoy
